happen to + infinitive 發(fā)生在+不定詞ex. If you happen to see Vanessa, tell her I said, “ Hi. ”
如果你碰巧看到Vanessa，幫我跟他說聲 “嗨” 。
ex. I happened to be asleep when he called me.
他打來時(shí)，我剛好睡著了。
ex. The teacher happened to give us a quiz on the day that I was absent.
